John Cappiello

John Cappiello is a graduate of Loyola University Maryland (B.A., 2011), the University of Missouri – St. Louis (M.Ed., 2013) and Northeastern University School of Law (J.D., 2016). John is admitted to the Bar in the State of New York.

John practices in Foster Care Litigation, and also handles Adoptions, Assisted Reproduction law matters, and Appeals at Rosin Steinhagen Mendel. Prior to joining the firm in 2017, John served as a Corps Member with Americorps’ Teach For America program, where he taught Language Arts in inner-city Kansas City, Missouri from 2011-2013. John also served as a Staff Attorney at the New York City Administration for Children’s Services, where he prosecuted child abuse and neglect cases in Kings County, New York from 2016-2017.

John is a proud member of the LGBT Bar Association of New York (LeGal). Since January 2017, John has served on the LeGal Family and Matrimonial Law Steering Committee.
